The Powering Small Business Britain report includes a series of quantitative assessments of the current landscape for entrepreneurship in the UK and qualitative insights from PayPoint.net’s experience of developing and partnering with small businesses.

 

The report includes a survey of 626 small (0-49 employees) business senior managers by You Gov plc’s Small Business Panel and 209 of PayPoint.net’s small business merchants making a total survey base of 835. The fieldwork was undertaken 16th - 19th November 2009 for the YouGov respondents and 1st - 23rd December 2009 for the PayPoint.net merchants.

 

Additional information and a Foreword were provided by IMRG the leading industry body for global e-retailing. Other sources that have been used to provide statistics are cited in the text and include IBM, Yahoo, the Office for National Statistics and HM Government.
